Ah, good point - although the choice was really just heart versus brain. From a purely rational viewpoint, Sirius seems the best husband material, as even after years in Azkaban he's still a loyal and caring person, if also a tad irresponsible - but I'm just not attracted to him, which I'd say is pretty essential in marriage. And marrying Snape is entirely out of the question, because it would involve my leading a double life as a Death Eater's wife, and because the way he handles students like poor Neville leaves me rather unconvinced of his emotional intelligence. Which leaves Remus.
Remus post-PoA I'm in two minds about - the whole plot of marrying Tonks followed by panicking and taking off (supposedly for Tonks' and the baby's sake - *stews*) in a fit of self-loathing never felt totally right to me. He wasn't a bitter person before the war started (if anything, he was too naive) so I can only guess something during the war made him crack. (Either that, or I just ignore canon, but that would be cheating. *g*) To answer your question: I have absolutely no idea if I'd be able to cope with that. On the other hand, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have let myself get pregnant in the first place. Not that I begrudge Tonks that, but, as I said, I'm a bit of a control freak, so bringing up a child when Voldemort is on my heels wouldn't be my first option.
