At one point, I shall manage to squeeze a decent bio in here. For now, let me just mention some miscellaneous good-to-know stuff:
- While I've been in fandom since my early teens, I've never been active in anything until some months ago. Discovering Babylon 5 was what drew me in, though I've also been dabbling in other fandoms (old and new) since then, most recently Twin Peaks.
- This journal is used mostly to post and find fic; I do the occasional review, meme or general squee/rant, but not very often. While I'm a multifandom girl, when it comes to writing fic I usually take on one fandom at a time, depending on what I'm squeeing about at that particular stage.
- My main shows and fandoms of interest: Babylon 5, Star Trek TOS, Twin Peaks, Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis, Dr Who, Harry Potter, Battlestar Galactica, Lost, Torchwood (and I'm sure I'm forgetting at least several other ones).
- What do I do in Real Life? Let it suffice to say that I've always been a Girl in a Men's World - first as a grad student in physics, now in finance and ICT. Nerdy-nerd, indeed! :) Further: married, no kids; and... yeah, that's it, I think, for Basic Me Knowledge.
On friending: feel free to add me, the more the merrier! It's always fun if you drop me a note when you do, but I promise not to pout if you forget.
