Thank you! This is actually a story I wrote months ago, before I'd even got an lj and decided to post stuff (ah, those days of innocence *g*). It took quite a bit of polishing up, but re-working it made me want to hug Vir so terribly - he does care for Londo too much for his own good sometimes, doesn't he? I think it's a small miracle that he ever went back to Londo after what he'd been put through for the purpose of revenge on Refa; and the fact that he did is a sign of strength rather than of weakness, of giving in. (I don't know about you, but I'm not at all sure I wouldn't have had that strength in that same circumstance. I think I might have hated Londo for a long time after that.)
By the way, I'm curious - what did you feel when reading the ending? Do you think it's fitting? And that Vir is right in feeling that way? The reason I'm asking is that I got a comment on this on fanfiction.net that said "it's a good thing we can't see the future, because otherwise Vir wouldn't have believed that", which really made me think. (I don't entirely agree, myself, but I'd love to hear someone else's thoughts on this.)
