Memory: that's very kind of you. It's reasonably good, but like everyone I tend to forget things as well - my very first B5 story, "Truth or Dare", was written before I had the chance to rewatch s5, and so I made a pretty big mistake in it - I gave G'Kar followers early in the season, when he didn't aquire his cult following until after he and Londo came back from Centauri Prime. Since then, I learned my lesson and if I'm writing anything bigger than a drabble or a short vignette, I try to check transcripts at least if I can't get my hands on episodes. (For example, for the Lochley story I did rewatch the episodes I knew to be important for her background. I had remembered some of it, but by no means everything, and so it was a good thing I did.)
Constructive criticism: I'm okay with it, but generally speaking if you don't know the writer and she/he doesn't declare they're okay with it, I'd leave more detailed critism for emails instead of public comments. Some people can be very touchy. I once pointed out in a comment that someone's story had declared Leopold Mozart to be a Prussian, which was as absurd as calling a New Yorker a Texan. (The man was born and raised in Augsburg, which makes him a Suabian or Southern German if you want to be more general, before he moved to Salzburg.) This resulted in a very hurt email from the writer saying I should have done this via email and had made her look stupid. Better err on the side of caution.
Hurt/comfort and Londo/G'Kar: I was curious because with most slash pairings, people tend to default to one party as the one mostly hurt in these type of stories. There isn't enough Londo/G'Kar around to develop default options, so it was a rare opportunity to ask someone why they made their choice. Re: Theatrical_muse roleplay back in the day, Vir being whumped so often was the Vir-Muns, i.e. hobsonphile's choice; she was in it for the cuddling afterwards. *g* (My own sadism vented itself in coming up with ideas such as letting that minister tell Londo that if he doesn't break up with G'Kar, people will assume the only reason he's pro-Narn reconciliation is because of his boytoy, and won't follow his reforms, so if Narn reconciliation is really important to him, etc.)
Now in this particular case, I think I would have picked G'Kar simply for my fascination with difficult construction. Londo being physically weaker and also for all his pride more likely to accept he needs to be treated, and to accept comfort, makes it easier to get him into this type of situation. Mr. "If I screamed I would not be a Narn anymore", on the other hand, is just the type to die in silence rather than admit he just got a scratch from a poisoned blade, and having come along as Londo's bodyguard, he'd find it doubly frustrating if roles were reversed. Add to this his issues because the last time he was on Centauri Prime, he was a prisoner and tortured, and G'Kar would be incredibly difficult to comfort. Which is why I'd have gone for it and made Londo prove how good a diplomat he can be if he really tries. *veg*
