Oh, there's no need for you to say (or feel) sorry! On the contrary, I think I've just had my first experience of a part of Yuletide that's regular fare for many people, being the last-minute flailing, and it's an experience I'm happy to have had! It's only that I'm still so very unaccustomed to it, which made the flail more severe than it should have been, probably. It's by trying that we learn. :)
