Favorite character: Used to be Lupin, but my love for him cooled a bit later on, especially after his reaction to imminent fatherhood. These days it's Snape, hands down. Among the youngsters, Luna, because she's awesome. Least Favorite character: Gilderoy Lockhart. Who should have been one of those characters I love to hate, but for some reason I just found him too annoying to even tolerate on the page, let alone on the screen. (Sorry, Kenneth Branagh!) 5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): Severus/Albus, Severus/Minerva, Neville/Luna, Ron/Hermione, Remus/Sirius Character I find most attractive: Going by the movies rather than the novels: seventh-year Neville is really very handsome, and much more my type than, say, Harry or Ron. Of the women: please kill me, but purely physically, I'd have to go with Bellatrix. Who is as gorgeous as she is evil. Character I would marry: Not a lot of marriage material here, but... again, I'd take Neville over everyone else. Loyal, brave, and a great dry sense of humor, sounds like a good combination. Character I would be best friends with: Realistically, when I was fifteen or so, it would have been Hermione, because there was a time when I was just like her. Later on, Luna. Of the adults: Minerva seems like she'd be great to hang out with! A random thought: The thought of Ron, having carried Wormtail in his vest pocket for all those years, has never stopped grossing me out, and I never understood why Ron, after the first shock has passed, doesn't seem to be too terribly bothered by it at all. An unpopular opinion: I actually liked Harry/Ginny, both in the books and in the movies. Canon OTP: Severus/His Issues? If that's not allowed: Neville/Luna is movie canon, right? In book canon: Ron/Hermione for the youngsters, Dumbledore/Grindelwald for the adults. Non-canon OTP: I... don't think I have one? There are a number of pairings I can appreciate, but in general I tend to go for gen in this fandom. Most badass character: I'll have to go with Dumbledore. Pairing I am not a fan of: Snarry. I'm sorry, it just - teacher/student squick all the way, and apart from that I really can't see them together. Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): Tonks, of which I wish we'd been shown another side than her relationship with / pining over Lupin. Favourite friendship: Harry & Hermione, later on Harry & Luna. For the adults, Remus & Sirius, and Dumbledore & Snape, if one can call that a friendship (I think it is, if only because imho two people who've sharing so many dark secrets for so many years can only end up as friends or enemies). Character I want to adopt or be adopted by: Adopt: Hedwig! Be adopted by: Molly and Arthur Weasley.
PS: I didn't know you were a TOS (or even a Trek) fan, too! The list follows shortly!
