Internet woes

So, should anyone be wondering where in blazes I've disappeared to: our home internet connection is AWOL at the moment, due to a well-intended but idiotic stunt pulled by our cable company. Neither we nor they, it seems, have a clue how and when the problem will get solved, meaning that for now, the only way husband and myself can get access to things like webmail and social media (all of which have been very courteously blocked by our respective employers *sigh*) is at my parents' place. In other words, I won't have much opportunity to post or reply to comments until this has all been properly sorted out. Which will be next week at the earliest - possibly later. *HUGE sigh* So please don't think I'm ignoring you - I'd love nothing more than to be here, interacting, and I hope I'll be able to do just that sometime very soon. 

I'm missing you guys already! *sniffs and hugs you all*

In positive news: forced internet deprivation means I suddenly have much more time for stuff like *gasp* writing! As a consequence, I'll probably be finishing my help_japan story for crossing_hades sometime in the not-so-far future. Once it's finished, is there anyone who'd be willing to put this through a quick beta? It's B5 G'Kar & Lyta post-series fic, G'Kar's POV, gen-ish for the most part.
