Ohhhhh, I like it, very much indeed. Captures Ben's numbness after the event, with strong feelings flickering through. Locke asking him re: pain (and also Locke saying that yes, he sees it as a penance) was such a good touch, as was Hurley's response to Ben's first name taunt. You really write the three of them suberbly.
