And I have to admit I was just a little peeved here, not at the fact of other people finding this Rousseau IC but rather how I found it kind of hard not to read the comment as "whoops, you kinda forgot one major aspect of Ben here, honey, like, where is the sex?" :) Okay, will stuff foot in mouth now. *mphrgh*
About Ben, Alex and Rousseau, we agree entirely. And I'm not familiar with Blake's 7, alas, but I suppose it happens in many fandoms. And, admittedly, the show always did do a great job of making us forget, at least temporarily, just how many horrid deaths Ben has on his conscience (at least the ones like Locke and Jacob were hardly innocents; most of the Dharma people were.) Oh, and:
It's not that I can't understand the give-Ben-a-hug impulse after the finale
Please do not put those images into my head, please. Not unless you want me to end up spending the rest of my days writing fic about sweet magnificent woobie-bastard Ben with the nerdy glasses and the fashion-suicide vest and his arm in a sling looking all forlorn and helpless no no no no because DON'T THINK I'M NOT TEMPTED. *slaps own hands repeatedly*
There. And now I want to write post-finale Rousseau POV fic. To show I can. *g*
