There is one recent "Ben lets go" story but it's a Ben/Danielle Rousseau pairing the author didn't sell me on. I can come up with scenarious where Rousseau comes to forgive and accept Ben, but not that particular one. Here are some additional Lost recs from me. Only the last two are respectively Ben and Locke centric (and belong to a trilogy of stories), but Ben is in some of the others as well:
