saturnofthemoon: (B5 - G'kar & Londo forgiveness)
Thank you, this fic is wonderful! The characters are so well-written that I feel as if I'm reading scenes from the show itself. I enjoyed all 5 sections, but the last one is my favorite.

The people, even then, had loved Vir Cotto. Here was a man dedicated to truth, if only because he seemed incapable of bending it. Unfortunately, men who had little to hide did not make for very interesting stories.

This quote seems to dive right into the heart of Vir's character. He was an honest, good man who stayed true to himself despite all the trials he went through. Yet, he remained ultimately insignificant in the eyes of his people. This brings to mind JMS' own views on historians and Londo's quote about "the quiet ones" in "In the Beginning".
