*blushes* Wow. I'm flattered. Though there really is great stuff out there, as well! Have you read Coincidence (http://www.ravenswing.com/~tiriel/tp/coincid.html)? That's the one story I know of that takes place after Cooper's shooting, and is one of my favorite Twin Peaks fics ever.
Apart from that, fics I'd really recommend would be The Void and the Cloudless Sky (http://archiveofourown.org/works/17304) (which is gen, but just as I picture both of them), And the Devil Makes Thee (http://archiveofourown.org/collections/yuletide2009/works/31761) (long and plotty and has great characterization) and Wait for You (http://archiveofourown.org/works/99510), which I wrote a sequel for. Though of course all of that is very personal, and what works for me may not necessarily work for you as well.
