- and as always, thanks for the thoughtful comment. :)
Glad to hear that, despite the size, you made it to the end without getting bored! I don't often have the patience to read very long fics in their entirety myself *is embarrassed* so I was kind of worrying about this one being as long as it is.
I recall reading they actually had a plan for a 3rd series of Twin Peaks ("they" not being Lynch but some of the season 2 writers) that would involve getting Cooper de-possessed asap, before getting on with a new (read "recycled") storyline involving yet another victim of BOB. So while I'm eternally grateful they never did make a season 3, the fact that canon supports the premise Cooper will be okay eventuelly, did make me a happy fangirl. (Not that I generally don't like tragic endings, but this one was just - too utterly without hope. Gah.)

Writing Albert is so much fun - even in the tragic scenes, he never stops being the cynic, which is great to exploit in fic! *g* As for the other voices: Cooper, as in my first experiment with the fandom, was still hardest to write - I'm never quite sure if I'm getting him right or not. I can't quite seem to manage the show's quirkiness there. Are there specific Cooper passages that worked and/or didn't entirely work for you? Really I should have had a beta look at this, but then I didn't know whom to ask, so... But a second opinion always helps! Gordon I have an odd kind of affection for - his kissing Shelley ('TWO ADULTS SHARING A TENDER MOMENT') had me in stitches and kind of sold me on the character, too. And Annie was hard to write - especially matching her up with Albert in a conversation that I didn't want to be the cliché "jealous lover meets ex-girlfriend and hates the sight of her" kind of thing. I think I spent a month just on writing that conversation, lol! Did she still come across as the show's Annie to you, or did I overplay her assertiveness there?
