Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed this! A little relieved too, I have to admit, because I've been working on this for so long, in little chopped bits and pieces, afraid all the time it would turn into one of those neverending WIPs, and in the end I really couldn't be sure anymore if the whole thing was coherent enough. (I should have gotten a beta, really, but couldn't think of anyone from the top of my head, and I really wanted to post, so I thought, what the hell, let's just do this. :) )

The moment I decided I wanted to write this was the moment the idea for a de-possession resolution hit me, so I'm thrilled that worked for you! Also, knowing you're still working on a post-series fic of your own, there was always the chance my resolution would be similar to what you have in mind for yours - I'm glad that didn't happen. :) I really enjoyed writing that ending - including the bittersweet irony that, for Albert to really save Cooper from BOB, he had to be willing to kill him (because I'm assuming Cooper would prefer death over dragging BOB around for the rest of his life like a walking time-bomb) and therefore to let him go. (Saying it like that, it sure sounds like it has the potential for melodrama, lol. Fortunately, Albert's sarcasm is there to help keep things into perspective.)

I'm happy the characterizations worked for you! Cooper in particular is very hard for me to write, for some reason. He has a very specific way of speaking, yet I'm never sure if I got a good handle on his voice, his mannerisms... And the Albert & Annie scene I just couldn't resist - apart from the fact it made sense in the story, it was a fun challenge. I didn't want Annie to appear as the fragile one, either, but for her to show some spirit, for Albert to be surprised he's met his match in her. And then of course I had to have an Audrey cameo in, as well, however short!

The tone of the relationship - that was a tough one. I'm really, really not into non-con situations in fic, so I tried very hard to portray real!Cooper and Bob!Cooper as two separate entities, so that whatever Albert shared with the real Cooper was at least genuine, and something that they both wanted. Still, I see the ending for them as really open. I think it's a given that after it's all over, Cooper will go back to see Annie and explain, and whatever happens between him and Albert from that point onwards, is as much your guess as it is mine. But I'm convinced they'll find something between them that works - whether it's an actual relationship, or a deepened kind of friendship, or something else entirely. *pats Cooper and Albert lovingly*

So, in conclusion - this was a joy for me to write, and I'm so very happy I managed to fill your prompt in a way that works for you! Thanks again for the kind words! *basks in the praise*
