I had almost forgotten you were working on it so it was a pleasant surprise to fin it on my flist. It was well worth the wait.
That's a very interesting take on Lyta. I think she wasn't developed as well as she could have been in canon (or maybe it's only that I don't read enough fics about her) and I liked the little bits of her you gave us. The glove addiction and the taking care of her hair. And of course the telepathy thing and how it is not quite part of her. The out of body experience was very convincingly written.
And then -If there was anything you could undo, anyone you could go back for – it would be him.
Aww, my heart melted a little here.
The little bits about G'Kar are nice, too. Especially that one hint at his own experience with telepathy.
“I can’t,” she whispers. “I can’t let go, and I don’t want to. Maybe that makes me a lesser person than you, G’Kar, but that’s how it is.
That is a perfect summary of who Lyta is at this point in her life, and why she's doing what she's doing. The fact that she's aware of it makes her story just a little less sad. That's a good thing, too. There are too many tragedies in B5.
