Perfect sense, as far as I'm concerned. I must admit my own inability to write porn, even though I read so much NC-17 K/S fic in my teenage years it should feel like a second nature. Alien sex is much more safe because, let's face it, we're not going to experiment tentacles in real life any time soon.
