Oh, please, don't apologize for anything that has to do with "lateness" - I can't always reply that quickly myself, so I'm really not going to start panicking, or throw a hissy fit, over a late reply. :) Don't worry 'bout it.
I thought you would put him on the receiving side anyway, judging by your other fics.
Oh help, am I so transparent? *blushes furiously*
So, now you've explained the comfort part - but that's just one aspect of h/c, isn't it? :) Does that mean you'd just as gladly have fluff? Or is there a difference? I'm asking, because I find the whole h/c discussion an incredibly interesting one: from where that tendency to hurt characters we love? Only because of the comfort? I must say, when writing, I enjoyed the 'hurt' scenes, too, though I can't quite pinpoint why. Maybe because it triggers my cuddling reflex, and part of it is just shameless self-insertion (Search/Replace : G'Kar >> *own name here* :) )? There must be something more to it than that, though.
You remind me: I've been thinking for a while there's precious little G'Kar and Lyta fic around... Do you happen to know any? There's one by kangeiko that I know, but that's about it, I think. And yes, my feeling is also that G'Kar had a reasonably good life, especially compared to Londo.
Writer's anxiety: aw, you shouldn't... In any case, it's impossible to judge a story you've written yourself in an objective way (at least, I can't do it with mine). Also: no one is expecting your fic to be perfect, either. If I'd only posted stuff I was sure about, I would never have published this fic, or the Vir story for that matter (I think it's a bit too straightforward). But hey, people sometimes like imperfection better than perfection - the universe is odd that way. :) Anyway, I'm very much looking forward to whatever you post next!
