Same here! I think there was only one character in the previous movie with which I was a bit disappointed, and that was Scotty (sweet, kind, dutiful, serious TOS Scotty, who got turned into comic relief and acted real sucky to his little alien friend) but with everyone else, the whole movie was one giant squeefest of watching those people nail these characters in exactly the way I'd hoped they would. (Bless Karl Urban and his McCoy mannerisms! *melts*)
