Eep - AO3 eating paragraphs !?

I just realized, re-reading Crazy Little Thing Called Love, that in posting my finished story on AO3 (which I usually do just by pasting from Word) I apparently lost various paragraphs throughout !? It's very weird - there are several passages spread across the text that are there in the original document I copied from, but they're NOT in the version at AO3... Which makes for very confusing reading at several points. *Eep!* What's worse, not just the version on AO3 but also those on LJ, DW and FF.Net all have the same issue, because I always post a draft to AO3 first and then use that as a basis to copy to other sites. That usually leaves me with the least amount of formatting problems in copying the text to DW especially, so I've been doing it like that for quite some time now.

I hope this isn't why there was so little response to this fic - that everyone was just wondering what the hell was wrong with the dialogue jumping all over the place? I'm sorry, guys, I wish I'd realized sooner. *squirms*

Anyway, I'm fixing the story and am putting back the missing paragraphs right now! Basically, the correct version of the story (including the missing paragraphs) should be available on AO3, DW, LJ and FF.Net about 15 minutes from now!

Has anyone else ever had this issue with AO3? And if so, any idea how it can be avoided? I use Word 2007 and I paste from there into AO3's Rich Text browser. So far I never noticed any issues with that. And I haven't used any strange formats in my Word document as far as I'm aware.

ETA: fixed now! And it wasn't quite as bad as I'd feared: I caught two separate paragraphs, both in the first third or so of the story, that had vanished, and put those back, but that was all, I think. Should you spot any other really weird transitions, feel free to signal me and/or ask me if that was intentional. :) And I'm still very interested in finding out what might have caused this - I really don't like the thought of having to re-read every story I post on AO3 to make sure it's all there...
