Eee, thank you! :) What I was mostly trying to get across was how they make it a point not to pity or belittle each other, not out of a lack of respect but just the opposite. Not sure if I managed it in 200 words (I think this is the first fic I've ever written below the 1000-word mark, so I really have no experience with compact writing :) ) but very happy to hear you liked this!
