Thank you! Apparently it was a good thing I left the story to stew for a while, as sometime last week I idly picked it up again, took one good look at it, and wrote the ending all in one go! Muses, eh, you never know when they'll pass by. :)

I have to admit, I am a little bit in love with Lyta's hair. :) It's the type I would very much like to have, as mine is dark and thick and not easy to handle at all. And as I gathered from hearing Pat Tallman on the DVD commentaries, she was quite fond of trying out different hairdos for Lyta, so...

Ah, well, of course I had to find a way to bring in Londo. *grins*

And you're right - it's not so much that Lyta's story is so unbearably sad compared to those of some of the other characters, but that canon didn't offer much of a point or a resolution to it. She was just angry screwed-up Lyta, like we also got desperate love-starved Lennier, and both their deaths just seemed so pointless in canon (to me at least). I like to think she had a choice and made it, and didn't regret, and that in a way it was the right choice for her, even though I don't agree with it.
