I've had this opened in a new tab, meaning to read it for weeks, and only just now got around to it... and I wish I had read it sooner! Your portrayal of all the characters is spot-on (especially Lucy), in my opinion, and I could very easily imagine this scene taking place in the show. Coop/Albert has been one of my slightly neglected pairings over the years, but you've inspired me to go out looking for more fan fiction about them.
