It caught me by surprise in a good way. It made me smile, actually. I think it worked much better than a kiss would have -now that would have been a bit over the top given how your Cooper doesn't seem to be the kind of man who kisses other men. But the hug, yes, that worked. It made the fic complete, if that makes sense.
